The real setup cost
The machine-only package includes a basic water pump, exhaust fan and duct, honeycomb workbed, cables, and setup accessories. OMTech's observed packages placed LightBurn at $699.99, a chiller package at $839.99, and rotary-plus-chiller at $999.99 before applying any eligible reader code.
Add a safe exhaust route, cooling container or chiller placement, fire extinguisher, cleaning supplies, material, and a stable surface. If those additions make the total approach Polar territory, buy based on bed size and workflow rather than defending the original budget.
Cooling and temperature control
The included pump circulates water; it does not actively refrigerate it. That may be adequate for shorter sessions in a controlled room, but water temperature affects tube stability and life.
