Laser Cut Organizer Box Generator

A sorting bin with a lower front so you can see and reach what is inside. Set the size, how far the front drops and how far it leans, add handle cut-outs, and turn on stacking tabs so identical boxes lock together.

Presets

Size

Inside width, the long side.

Inside height at the back.

Inside depth, front to back along the bottom.

Front

50%

Percent of the back height. 50% to start, about 30% for screws and small parts.

15°

0 is a straight front. Leaning it back makes the opening wider.

Handles

Handle cut-outs

From the top edge of the wall to the top of the cut-out.

Stacking and joints

Tabs on the wall tops lock into slots in the bottom of the box above.

0 is automatic: about 2x the material for corners, 4x for the bottom tabs.

Kerf

Enter your real sheet thickness; 3 mm plywood is often 2.8 to 3.2. Cut a test corner before the full box.

Engrave a name, monogram, message or your own logo on any face. Preview it here for free.

Your first organizer box download is free, engraving included.

Fits on 454mm x 277mm sheet (17.9" x 10.9")

  • Push the wall tabs down through the slots in the bottom, then glue the corners. The front tabs set the front wall's lean on their own.
  • Engrave the walls on the side that faces out; the inside bottom engraving reads from the front.
  • Cut one corner as a test first: loose fingers mean you need more kerf, tight ones less.
  • The tabs on the wall tops drop into the slots in the next box's bottom. Stack boxes of the same size.

The parts need a bed of about 454 x 277 mm. Check it against your laser, or cut in two sheets.

Drag an engraving in the preview to move it.

Good for

  • Workshop screws and small parts
  • Shelf and market-stall displays
  • Kids toys and craft supplies

How it works

  1. Set the size. Pick a preset or type your own measurements. Every box is drawn to your real material thickness.
  2. Personalize it. Add a name, a message or an image, drag it into place, and see it on the box before you download.
  3. Download and cut. The SVG imports at true size in LightBurn, xTool Creative Space and Glowforge. Cut a test corner first if you are unsure of your kerf.

FAQ

How low should the front be?

Half the back height is a good start. For flat items like screws, about 30 percent works better.

How do the stacking tabs work?

Small tabs on the top of the walls drop into matching slots in the bottom of the box above, so a stack cannot slide. The open front does not weaken it.

What material?

4 to 6 mm plywood is a good fit for bins that will be carried and stacked.

How much does it cost?

Your first download of each box type is free, engraving included. After that, 10 exports are $5, or $19 unlocks unlimited downloads for life. An export covers both the SVG and the DXF of the same design, and downloading it again is free.

Does it work with LightBurn, xTool, Glowforge and OMTech?

Yes. The SVG is in millimetres and imports at true size. Cut lines are red and engraving is filled black. The DXF is R12 for RDWorks and CAD software.

What kerf should I use?

Start with 0.15 mm for a CO2 laser or 0.08 mm for a diode, and cut a test corner. Every part is drawn half a kerf oversize so the joints press-fit.

Are my designs and logos uploaded?

No. The boxes, the engraving and any image you add are all handled in your browser. A saved draft stays on your device so your work survives signing in and checking out.
